Overview:
CMI Education Institute, a national leader in continuing education, is seeking to fill a full time Customer Service/Support Representative position, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process registrations for our programs via phone, fax, mail and Internet
  • Answer incoming calls regarding registration, program content, continuing education credits, product orders and association memberships
  • Monitor and answer incoming emails and online chats
  • Provide technical support for accessing online registrations and online programs
  • Requirements:
    We are looking for an articulate individual with:
    • An associate degree or equivalent work experience in customerservice/support
    • Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Organization and the ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
    • A positive outlook with a serious commitment to service, teamwork, and flexibility
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Reader
    • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in general PC knowledge

    Position: Business Manager Developer
    Status:

    CMI Education Institute, Inc, North Campus, an Eau Claire based nonprofit organization, is a national leader in continuing education for a variety of professions (www.pesi.com). Due to continued growth, we are seeking an individual to manage and grow an existing segment of business while working within a supportive, team oriented organization.
    Main responsibilities include:
    • Strengthening current products through customer feedback and statistical analysis, primarily in the seminar planning and product development area
    • Research, evaluate, promote and implement new business opportunities
    • Improving marketing and advertising strategies
    • Maximizing business development by identifying, testing and implementing new business opportunities
    • Analyze current business and implement growth strategies
    • Maintain robust general knowledge of customers, markets and business trends
    • Initiate and maintain relationships with business partners
    • Actively initiate and participate in project team efforts in the areas of business planning, process improvement and R&D
    • Budgeting/Financial analysis
    • Meet deadlines for project management
    Requirements:
    • Self motivated with a strong entrepreneurial drive
    • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years experience in one or more areas: marketing, new business development or product development
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
    • Excellent problem solving skills in a challenging and fast paced environment
    • Strong communication skills, written & verbal

    Position: Application Developer
    Status:

    Technical skills required:
    • 3+ years applied experience with the .NET framework, C#, SQL Server 2005, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Experience using SQL Server Management Studio, IIS 7.x, Visual Studio 2008/2010
    • Proven experience working with SQL Server 2005 tables, views, and stored procedures
    • Understanding of physical and logical database models
    • Understanding of concepts such as web application and web server configuration
    • Comfortable configuring IIS 7.x web applications and deploying to staging and production environments
    • Experience, knowledge and expertise in business and systems analysis and design and project life cycle methodology; best practices and processes are also a plus
    Highly desirable skills:
    • Experience in developing in a unit testing environment
    • Experience working with version control systems such as Subversion, Mercurial, and GIT

    Position: Graphic Designer
    Status:

    Description

    We are seeking a graphic designer to join our growing company. PESI is the nation's top provider of continuing education for the mental health profession around the country. As a graphic designer for PESI you must be able to manage multiple projects ranging from brochure design to book layout.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Maintain quality and eye for detail regardless of project size
    • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and work efficiently under tight deadlines
    • Communicate clearly and constructively with fellow team members and outside vendors
    • Collaborate with marketing and publishing teams to create the best possible product
    • Execute both creative and production work
    • Understand timelines and prioritize short and long term projects
    • Participate in project brain storming and critiques with graphics team
    Qualifications
    • BA/BFA in design or equivalent training
    • High proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is a plus
    • Highly self motivated and confident
    • Passion for design
