Carrie Ann Cherep-Carr, MA, LCPC, is a certified EMDR clinician, consultant and trainer. She is the founder and executive director of the Hope Enrichment Center PA in Palos Heights, IL. She began her practice with the goal of providing health, hope and healing to create positive change in the world. Carrie has been a dedicated EMDR therapist and mindfulness practitioner since 2004.
Carrie has spoken around the country on the topics of mindfulness, EMDR, and the treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma, and performance enhancement. She has also acted as adjunct faculty at Leis University, Argosy University, and Triton College in the areas of EMDR Therapy and psychology.
Cherep-Carr has more than 17 years of clinical experience in the community mental health arena, private psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. She is passionate about providing excellence in psychotherapy and inspiring other professionals via training and teaching. She is an active member of the ACA, APA, ICA, EMDRIA, and IMHCA. She is also a regional coordinator for EMDRIA and frequently speaks for state and local chapters of the ICA.
