Jonathan Swinton, Ph.D., is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and relationship expert. He is a Certified Medical Family Therapist, and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Swinton founded and leads an expanding network of couples counseling clinics (Swinton Counseling) stretching throughout the Rocky Mountains that provide counseling, couple retreats, and relationship seminars. He has been published in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, and Families, Systems, and Health. Dr. Swinton has published dozens of articles on relationships in magazines and online self-help sites, and is often featured as a relationship expert on television and radio stations. He taught for the Department of Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University and was recently awarded the 2013 Human Ecology Alumni Entrepreneur Award from Kansas State University. He is a husband and father, and enjoys helping individuals and couples with their relationships.
He has a Masters degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Nebraska, and a Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy from Kansas State University.
