Sonia Roschelli, LCSW-S, LCDC, RYT 200, is the Director of Addiction and Recovery Services at the Menninger Clinic. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Mary Washington, a master’s degree in social work from George Mason University, and completed a postgraduate social work fellowship at the Menninger Clinic. She has expertise in evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders and is skilled in working with adolescents, adults, and families in outpatient and inpatient settings. Sonia has training in acceptance and commitment therapy, self-compassion, trauma-informed yoga, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and integrated dual disorder treatment. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are and moving them forward in their change process using a compassionate, values-based approach. Sonia has presented locally and nationally on treating co-occurring disorders.
